God is in the Details—And Through Him, We Find the Truth

They say God is in the details, revealing truth time and time again. Where truth shines, deception is exposed. Even when liars spin more lies to cover their tracks, the facts come tumbling out like a holy avalanche. The difference between those seeking truth and those trying to conceal it is simple: liars lose track of their lies. They slip up. They contradict themselves. And when they do, they must spin even more lies to cover their tracks. But the truth? It stands firm.

When we pursue truth, we may make mistakes along the way. But unlike deceivers, we correct our course, admit when we’re wrong, and press forward with integrity. That’s the key difference—truth seekers strive for clarity and transparency, while deceivers scramble to obscure reality. Those tangled webs they weave are used to ensnare us, but the light of God’s power is revealing them so that we can tear them down.

In many faith communities, courageous individuals are finding no choice but to step into the light and invite the public to hold wrongdoers accountable. Some communities have done the right thing—ensuring that when bad actors are exposed, law enforcement and church authorities take appropriate action. But tragically, others choose silence, cover-ups, and complicity, allowing harm to persist.

What we are witnessing now is nothing short of divinely inspired bravery. People who have been silent for years—sometimes decades—because of fear, shame, or the belief that no one would listen, are finally speaking out. And why? Because courage sparks courage. When one voice rises in truth and is met with support, others find the strength to do the same.

I say this often: We are in the midst of an awakening of biblical proportions. And that is a good thing.
