Truth is Not Hate: Free BC From SOGI 123A protest/rally against SOGI 123 is being staged in front of the BC legislature on Saturday September 29th at 11:05am. The protest is being organized by public speaker and transgender identified male Jenn Smith.While this rally/protest is primarily designed as an event for Christians, all persons that still subscribe to truth and reality and thus are opposed to SOGI 123, are welcome to join the protest in front of the Legislature. Although it was not planned this way, the protest actually coincides with the traditional “Feast of the Archangels” aka “Michaelmas.” Michael, of course, was the Archangel traditionally depicted as the defender of the church. This is, if nothing else, an amazingly apropos and meaningful coincidence.The object of this protest/rally is to raise awareness to the dangers of SOGI 123 and to the fact that those who oppose this program have not been heard by our government or our press. The largest demographic in our society was totally ignored in the creation of this program, thus it is anti-democratic at its core. Smith says he is hoping a general but peaceful uprising of Christians, true feminists, and others who still stubbornly cling to truth and reality, might be able to collectively influence our government to stop teaching dangerous ideologies in our schools and trampling basic rights and freedoms in the process.This protest has absolutely nothing to do with promoting hatred. Smith himself is transgender and would never take part in anything he thought was hateful, but he believes this program will destroy the lives of countless young people and that it is also essentially totalitarian in nature because it seeks to undermine parental authority. The protest thus is designed primarily to protect children from an insane ideology and protect the rights and beliefs of Christian families which are being trampled.Former 700 Club Canada hostess Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson will be the co-host of this event.
