From Canada Post today:CUPW announces national strike – customers should expect service delaysThe Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced it intends to begin a national strike on Friday, November 15 at 12:01 am ET.Canada Post’s operations will shut down during a national strike, affecting millions of Canadians and businesses across the country.Dear Friends,As you may have heard, a postal strike has began November 15th, causing disruptions to mail services. This could significantly impact our ministry, as we rely on your generous support through mail donations and purchases from our website.We’re concerned that delays may affect both the delivery of items, such as books, and the receipt of your vital contributions. Our costs for Daystar will continue even though there is a mail strike. Your support is the lifeblood of our ministry, and we depend on it to continue serving our community.We kindly ask for your patience during this time and, if possible, consider alternative ways to support us, Every little bit helps us mitigate the challenges this strike may cause.
