Take Another Look at The Most Courageous Politician in Canada!
Most of us have heard some version of this statement "Every nation has the government it deserves" (Joseph de Maistre (1753-1821). If we take this quote even somewhat to heart we must admit that we shoulder some of the responsibility for what we are currently living. As in Proverbs 14:34, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people". In order for us to hope to reclaim a civil, moral, and upright culture we must look to leadership that exemplifies strong moral principles. Where can we find such leadership today in our country? It's not easy. When the CPC whooped and cheered as they passed in unison, with the Liberals and NDP, a law to criminalize and imprison parents who disagree with their child's decision to transition to the opposite sex they brought the judgment of God on our nation. When all elected officials refuse to deal with the heart-breaking 100,000 abortions per year, we have brought the wrath of God.
A way to recognize strong principles in a leader is their willingness to stand for what is right, good and just. We have seen this kind of leadership begin to emerge. Max Bernier announced the PPC platform on two difficult and contentious social issues: the "evil gender ideology" (https://tinyurl.com/2jk3rpac) and Canada's failure to show leadership to defend the rights of the not yet born (https://tinyurl.com/kjuckvst). In an unprecedented show of courage and integrity, he and the PPC open the discussion on these issues that need to be debated and addressed in Parliament. Bernier, Leader of the PPC is running in the by-election of Portage-Lisgar and has come out swinging against, in his words, the "Evil Woke Cult".
