You Shall Them By Their Fruits
I was recently in a discussion with a friend about the destructive impact the past four years has had on our capacity to trust. How does one know who is lying? How can we be certain that the sources we are listening to are genuine and not compromised? Certainly, most of us want to believe we are smarter now. Or are we? We want to believe, having been awakened to the depth of corruption and "mass psychosis" that we are now the wiser and alerted to the fact that we must stay vigilant in our seeking for truth.What are the sources of said truth? Should we not have a healthy skepticism of them? The challenge is not to become so mistrustful that we find ourselves in a tail spin into paranoia becoming suspicious about EVERYTHING! Paranoia is itself a psychosis and not productive in finding our way out of the lies. Legacy media and some podcasts would like us to distrust everyone but them. Which leads to more psychosis.... I find scripture to be a trusted resource to help parse out lies from truth. One of the many helpful verse is Matthew 7:16 "you will know them by their fruits". As the verse explains it is our duty to measure the words and the deeds of those who are sharing their story. We at www.lauralynn.tv seek out the very best discerners who are the bravest souls sharing the most compelling stories, exemplified in their words and actions. This is what bearing good fruit truly looks like. I realize there are wolves in sheep's clothing and it is our job, all of us, to do our due diligence. First, pray and seek the Holy Spirit to guide us in all truth. Next, share what we have found with those we care about.
